SSI is an American corporation established in 1999. It is privately held by its original founders and headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia.  Our original focus on reducing utility costs for multifamily and commercial owners and managers in the Virginia, Maryland and Washington, DC markets, quickly turned into a nationwide business.

Today SSI is a leading full-service utility submetering and billing company providing superior customer service and support to our clients. We specialize in accurate and timely resident and commercial tenant utility billing through submetering systems or ratio utility billing service (RUBS).  Our billing services are complimented by our turnkey submeter installation services for water, natural gas and electricity.
